This is great entry level job for you if you are a people person and interested in rock climbing. Staff are the point of contact and the general means of interaction for all our guests. Staff members play a key role in creating positive impressions about Hub, its community and rock climbing. In general, front desk staff are responsible for greeting customers, describing and selling services and programs, processing payments, answering and directing all phone inquiries, and orienting staff into the facility.
Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills. Customer service background is preferred. Climbing experience is desirable. Must be able to work evenings and weekends with a minimum 6-month commitment.
Previous experience with caring for children is essential.
We are looking for instructors who are engaging and inspiring, able to communicate well, and make new climbers feel at ease with the process and confident in their own abilities. Not only will the instructor be encouraging and supportive but he/she will also help with overall structure, progression and planning of our lessons and programs. How do certain parts fit into a periodized plan for new climbers? Experienced climbers? Adults and youth will need different plans!
Teaching experience is necessary for this position. Night and weekend shifts are available and may be required. On call shifts are possible and may be required.
